The Kato 11-109 chassis is widely used by 09 modellers in small diesel locos. However, when used on tight radius curves the loco can derail. This is caused by a long overhang, so the coupling tends to pull the loco off. Kato also make a bogie chassis (11-105) this is slightly longer but still fit into a model, in this case a Hunslet form A1 models. The supplied couplings were removed and a 3D printed version was added. These are attached to the bogie and therefore turn as the loco traverses a tight curve, which should prevent any derailing. The low sole bars cover the bogies from sight.
