This kit was bought S/H but was not started. All was going well until the construction of the body was started, when it was realised that the wrong etch for the body was included.
To overcome this the missing etch, new sides were made, which the door etch could be soldered to. Hopefully this will lead to a good finished model.
The photo below shows there is plenty of space for a flywheel, which will be the next part to make.
The instructions are "disappointing" - in fact they could have saved some money and not included then - they are that good !
The castings for the buffers are poor quality, so will look for some alternatives.
Some photos of the "real thing" are more helpful, although there are several variations around. Even with several photos - there are still some parts in the kit that I can't decide what to do with.
